You can go camping in the Adirondack Mountains of NY for under $25 a night (accomidations). Either by Lake George or Lake Placid. Theres plenty of things to do in both places, especially if you like the Great Outdoors.

Washington, DC is another place as that the Smithsonian Museums, the momuments, and many other things are free admission. You would only be paying for food and accomidations.

I'm not sure how expensive it is, but you could also go up to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Its very pretty up there, and theres a lot to do.

Philadelphia has some free stuff to there as well, but I wouldnt go there on a vacation. (probably cause I take day trips there)

Another option is the Jersey Shore. Ocean City, Wildwood, Beachhaven, or Seaside Heights. Theres the beach there, and theres the boardwalk. But if you choose this one, be careful as that walking the boardwalk and playing the games can get costly.

Stay away from places like NYC, Boston, and Baltimore if you want to save money.

I might need a little bit more information because it depends on where you, where you have been, how far are you willing to drive. A few places are pretty cheap, but gas is expensive. You can find a cheap hotel pretty much in any New England city except Boston. Burlington, VT is a great city to visit, Providence, Rhode Island usually has something fun going on and also Newport Rhode Island. In New Hampshire there are a lot of great outdoor activities. Look around and check out for some ideas. Hope this helps!
